OpenID Foundation board growth

The news that Google, IBM, Microsoft, VeriSign, and Yahoo! have joined the OpenID Foundation board is significant.  We are continuing to see steady growth in the potential importance of OpenID to today's Web.  I say 'potential' only because I still don't make daily (or even occasional) use of OpenID on a regular basis for the kinds of things I do on the Internet - Typepad, Blogger, Wordpress, Flickr, Slideshare, Facebook, ... - a situation that I'd like to see changing sometime reasonably soon.

Scott Kveton's blog has a nice set of pointers to the blog commentary.
